No great shakes time wise, in fact awful times really comparitavely but at least I was out! Miss Pump got a stitch early on and this came and went throughout so we took it very slow and steady but I was still feeling rough anyway so didn’t mind and five was definately enough. I sensibly decided not to go to classes tonight as well in the hope I feel better tomorrow and can do another run tomorrow, although not with the club just yet I don’t think.
That is my name on the list for the Devil of the Highlands race next year so my challenges for fundraising are mounting up! So far I am thinking:
Jan 1st – Edinburgh triathlon
April – Highland Fling – applied
May something – Edinburgh marathon
July – this is just a thought just now but might be able to go and climb Mount Kiliminjaro
August – Devil of the Highlands – applied
October – Berlin marathon again with Miss Pump or another European or Inverness
That spreads things nicely throughout the year and I have not done a triathlon before, any ultras or climb Mount Kiliminjaro so certainly plenty of new challenges there.
I updated my school blog a couple of days ago with more tales of my time in Malawi, hopefully I will finish it soon!
